*世界最古の星座とは？
星座はいつ出来たのでしょうか？その起源はとても古く、古代メソポタミアで生まれました。時代は紀元前3000年前ですので、今から5000年も前のことです。バビロン近郊で発掘された粘土板集にさそり座やペガスス座などのことが書かれており、これが証拠として存在する最古の記録です。しかし、これ以外にも様々な文明の神話に星座の話は出できます。
太古の時代、今のように光害もありませんから、夜空の星はよく見えたことでしょう。夜空を見上げ、その星々を繋げて話を創造する。私もそうですが、宇宙が好きな人は子供の頃、勝手に星を繋げて独自の星座を作っていたのではないでしょうか。そういう点では昔から人の営みはあまり変わっていないのかも知れません。ちなみに皆が勝手に星座を作ると混乱してしまうため、現在の星座は国際天文連合により1928年に定められました。

Clay tablets excavated near Babylon contain records of constellations like Scorpius and Pegasus, serving as the earliest known evidence. However, stories of constellations can be found in the mythologies of various civilizations.
In ancient times, without light pollution, the night sky's stars were clearly visible. People gazed up at the night sky, connecting the dots to create stories. Many space enthusiasts, including myself, likely created their own constellations as children. In this sense, human fascination with the cosmos hasn't changed much over time.
Interestingly, to avoid confusion caused by everyone creating their own constellations, the current constellations were officially defined by the International Astronomical Union in 1928.
