*七夕の起源は？
七夕の起源はいつまで遡れるのでしょうか。今から1800年以上前の中国 後漢の時代の文献に織女星と牽牛星についての記述が見られるそうです。その後、3～4世紀には織姫と牽牛が年に一度だけ会うという星伝説が生まれました。日本には8世紀 頃の奈良時代に遣隋使や遣唐使によって伝えられました。同時期に編纂された万葉集にも七夕に関連する歌が130首以上あります。
【万葉集第10巻より】
「天の川 安の渡りに舟浮けて 秋立つ待つと妹に告げこそ」(天の川の安の渡しに舟を浮かべて、秋になるのを待っていますと、妻に告げてください)
*What is the Origin of Tanabata?
The origin of Tanabata dates back to the 2nd century in China.
How far back can we trace the origins of Tanabata? Records from the Eastern Han Dynasty in China over 1,800 years ago mention the stars Vega and Altair. By the 3rd to 4th centuries, a star legend emerged about Orihime and Hikoboshi meeting once a year. Tanabata was introduced to Japan during the Nara period in the 8th century by envoys to the Sui and Tang dynasties. The Man'yōshū, compiled during the same period, contains over 130 poems related to Tanabata.
From Volume 10 of the Man'yōshū:
"At the crossing of Yasuno on the Milky Way, I float a boat, waiting for autumn, please tell my wife."
