*何故二十四節気は宇宙と関係しているのか？
「立春」「夏至」「秋分」「大寒」などの二十四節気は、昔から季節の移り変わりを知る目安として使われてきました。実はこれは太陽の動きと深く関係しています。地球は1年かけて太陽のまわりを公転しますが、その位置によって昼の長さや太陽の高さが変わります。この変化を基準に分けたのが二十四節気です。農作業の時期や生活の知恵に役立ち、今でも天気予報や暦で使われています。つまり二十四節気は、宇宙の中での地球の動きを私たちの暮らしに映したカレンダーなのです。

The 24 solar terms, such as Risshun (Beginning of Spring), Summer Solstice, Autumn Equinox, and Daikan (Severe Cold), have long been used to mark seasonal changes. These terms are closely connected to the Sun’s movement. As the Earth orbits the Sun over the course of a year, the length of daylight and the Sun’s height in the sky change depending on Earth’s position. The 24 solar terms were created based on these changes. They helped people decide the timing of agricultural work and everyday life, and they are still used in calendars and weather forecasts today. In other words, the 24 solar terms are a calendar reflecting the Earth’s movements in space and how they affect our daily lives.
